From what I can tell, I got a late 60's to early 70's SB 13. The thrust bearing is missing between bushing 46 and the cross feed screw. Does anyone have a recommendation for acquiring a replacement?
Easily avaiable on ebay or amazon, or a local bearing supplier. All you'll need is the OD of the shaft, which will be the bearing ID. That should get you started. The bearing thickness will be determined by the bearing size.
Check McMaster-Carr. You'll need to measure the OD of the shaft and the ID of part 46. If it's not a nominal size, you will have to find someone with a NOS replacement. Try Ted Pflugner (latheman2@aol.com) for NOS parts.
