I have had mine about a year. I finally got around to installing my DRO. I was surprised that the X Axis scale sagged .006" in the middle. Then I checked the table. It sags .004" in the middle, so the scale stays within a couple thousandths of the table.
Is .004" of table sag normal in a lightly used year old 833T?
Also, when the table gets within a couple inches of max travel it gets harder to move. Since I had the dial indicator on the table, I saw where when it gets to the draggy spot the dial indicator jumps a thousandth or so. I re-greased the screw and it seems to help some, but there is still more drag at the end of travel. The X-Axis feed motor drags down a little as well. It started doing this all of a sudden.
Is drag at the end or table travel normal?
Also, the X Axis power feed motor was getting warm as I ran the table back and forth. The Z Axis motor does not get warm. Is that normal?
