Mystery parts

Anybody seen these pieces in their Jet lathe. It's a 1660, and the operator is telling me the start lever didn't feel right. It works just fine. I found these things laying at the tailstock end in three different spots. They aren't in the parts diagrams that I can find.

Looks like a blocking lever than blocks the threading lever when the power feed is engaged and vise versa
 
I think you're right. There is a problem with the power feed lever. It has a screw sheared. That screw looks like it determines whether it's traveling longitudinally or cross wise. Thanks!
