Heh heh
I got the 12" speed-square recently. Very handy when into as much woodworking as circumstances has pitched me into.
It seems the way you get a "metric" speed-square made is to just silkscreen paint on metric markings.
I discovered that the set of indents about the right size to snug a blunt Sharpie are all 12.7mm apart, or half-an-inch if you like!
The set opposite are offset, so one can have 1/4" intervals as may be needed.
I suppose I do get it that this way gets it made without new tooling. I did wonder why metric types with graduations pressed into the metal instead of just painted on seemed hard to find. It's OK - so long as you know about it!
