Are all of the buttons on this model the rubber type that you normally find on a calculator or are the X, Y, Z buttons along with the Zero out buttons the plastic film type like you find on a microwave/stove?

It’s hard to tell from the pictures.

Looking on the PM site the buttons on the MX-100L appear to be buttons the MX-200 are the film type. A call to PM would be in order to find out for sure.

MX-100L are rubber push buttons, MX-200L is capacitive touch type (not membrane switch type).

Thanks!!

It kind of looked like the X, X0, Y, Y0, Z, and Z0 were capacitive touch on the MX-100L from the pictures so I wanted to make sure all buttons on the MX-100L were membrane buttons before ordering.

They are not membrane buttons, they are rubber push buttons on the MX-100L same as the EL400. So not as easy to clean.

Okay…thanks for the better picture!

I’m going to go with this unit and if I find it lacking or difficult to use I’ll get a TouchDRO setup since it’s basically the same cost as the upgrade to the MX-200L. I could then sell the MX-100L on eBay or something.
