what's the round thing you stick the sandpaper
to called?
when i get it over here that's one of the first
things i'm going to check and see if it's still there.

In auto body work we call it a sanding block, when grinding heads I call it a mandrel. In the land of hot-wheels I am at a lose. Hope this helps.

don
in a manual for it online Mattel calls it a faceplate.
now that might be the lathe word for it and
it does double duty.
it's not hot wheels, see on front of box?
it's a REAL power shop.:)

If it uses PSA disks, it would be a disk sander.

tony
what's a PSA?
i don't like to guess!:)
as soon as i know the size i will be looking
for replacement sand paper.
plus real scroll saw blades i can adapt.
plus put a little drill chuck on it.

PSA = Pressure Sensitive Adhesive

I'm trying to remember if that's the same thing I had when I was a kid. Does it come with balsa and a gritty kind of foam boards?

hawkeye
it probably came with wood, the gritty foam board
is not ringing a bell.
it does look like picture on box.
it is now over here.
i will take one peek inside red carrying case today.
then look at 'sams toybox.com' at his manual and
take inventory.

I just flashed back a few lifetimes. Mine was the Kenner Home Workshop. Tons of fun, but that foam dust was annoying.

here's pic.
you had 7 tools!?:)
you had a project work book!?:)
probably why i don't remember
foam board, huh!
