papaw, I think this is right: to the right, below the text box click 'upload a file' button,


then browse to the pic on your computer, double click the pic and you should see this:

choose if you want to insert the full image or thumbnail, click 'post' and you should be good.

(hope I'm not telling you to do something you already tried! LOL)
