If you are considering a tailstock die holder, look at the Hemingway tailstock die holder, which comes as a kit. The design has a nifty clutch incorporated that allows threading safely right up against a shoulder.
Good morning, heres one I made a while ago. The adaptor is held by a bushing in the chuck that allows the tap handle to slide out the length of the tap and the travel can be increased by moving the tailstock as needed. I can also use it on my mill. I saw the one you made and it is a beautiful piece of work. Thanks, Charlie.
