Making a new compound gear

My compound gear on my Atlas 10" lathe is starting to go bad and before it does I decied to make one here I am cutting the small gear on my GO 727 mill.

Here I am making the large gear I had to make the mandrels and the tail stock to I did not have those.

Here is the finished gear ready to be installed.

Thanks Dave I think my Zamak gears are getting to the age that all the Zink, Aluminum, tin and what ever are starting to react with one another making the gears brittle I have had several fail lately. I will make steel or brass replacements as they go.
