Makes sense. I never thought of that.
Thanks Robert

Yes. I have a new (to me) Powermatic 1200HD drill press and am just getting a few things to make other tooling usable on it.

It is for using Annular Cutters witch are for a mag drill in any thing with an MT3 taper socket.

I have a fairly complete set of annulars from 1/2 - 2". Use them in my Bridgeport often and smaller ones in my HF drill press with a guide. I'm hoping this new HD drill press will be great for them also (slow spindle speed and sturdy spindle). Since I found out about annular cutters, I hardly use twist drills anymore for over 1/2" holes.

Arron--the base of drill is electro magnet ---sounds like they are selling a magnetic drill that mounts to a beam or metal surfaces----listing options of what drills and tooling cutters you can use in it---Dave
