Magic wand not working

Hello Yuriy,

I have the electronic touch probe sorted out mostly. It works great when manually selecting left, right. Near, far. However, I cannot get the magic wand feature to work. It gives a kind of short buzz sound when probe sends signal but doesn't recognize the touches. See attached video. You can see the probe change from green to red in the screen reflection same time the buzz sound is made.

Hi Alan,
You are the second person with this behavior. This is clearly a bug, but so far I can't figure out what is happening.
The buzzing sound (without error message) happens when the probe is triggered but there is no detected scale movement. I suspect you are moving the spindle to trigger the probe, so this should not be happening. Unfortunately I can't reproduce this on any of my setups, so my next step is to add some debugging info so next time this happens I can get some data to look at. This will be in the next app version, some time in August (Google changed the rules for the Play Store again, so I'm in process of "fixing' the violations before I can publish anything.

It's probably not a tablet issue. In the June version I tuned the probe to react to smaller movements and shortened the detection period. I suspect that has something to do with this...

So, the trouble is that I didn't change anything while you were gone :( I wish I knew what the difference is between now and two weeks ago :(

Only thing I did was unplug everything in the shop when I left. Then plugged back in today. Just glad it's working!
