Made a Stock Support for my Mill

For quite some time I have been using two drill presses side by side to support long material being drilled. Of course that was no good for milling. I decided to make a support the same height as the base on my milling machine vise (2 1/4"). It can be slid to any position and placed on either end of the table.

I upgraded my vise from a 4" Kurt to a 6" Kurt, which has a 5/8" higher base. I welded pieces of 1/8" and 1/2" scrap on top of the support and surfaced it to the same height as the vise.
