I got a rigid and useful old clamp from a retired machinist today. A standard welding plier is shown as reference. Even though I wasn't asked for money I gave him a fair amount. There are no salary increases for retired people here and by this I may be shown some more stuff that will come to use.

The clamp is in great working order despite many many years of use. Perhaps it is built by an
apprentice?

Here those clamps are sold as Kant Twist. I don't have any myself but understand that they are very good clamps. A 6" clamp sells for about US$30 here.

Thanks for info !

The long shank is 8". I gave 40 dollars so it seems to be fair then.

Yep kant twist clamp. Much better than c-clamps.

Years ago enco sold copies of the Kant twist clamps. I have several and they are the best to keep things lined up and not move when tightening . Think hey start at 1" on up ,prices to match too on up .
