I've been wanting to learn more about machine rebuilding, and have watched a lot of YT videos on the subject. I was offered the opportunity to get a crash course in scraping from a friend so I needed a "class project". I decided to get an 18" straight edge from Denis Foster (found him in PM). First time machining something like this. The work holding was a challenge. Lots of good advice from Denis on this, plus a little of my own ideas went into figuring out the best way to hold it so I get the best end result. Scraping it flat and true comes next!
