I think that 1914 was the earliest with many updated versions to present time. And as the new editions come out, new material has been added, but due to size constraints, some older material is left out....my question is....is there a compilation of all the deleted material in print somewhere?? Or is all this info lost to the cutting room floor.

This is one of the book that I have threatened to get for decade and never have, have of course looked at them and found specific information hard to find. With the internet, PC based software available and have it is doubtful I ever will. My suspect is the hard bound versions will go the way of the hard bound encyclopedias, on-line or die.
