I like learning about the old manufacturing methods and the machines that used them to make this world the better place that it is today. I am always looking for information about my interest and ran across a site today that has gathered a lot of info and put it in one place. I don't recall having seen a post about the website mentioned below but it has a lot of interesting topics and many links to information related to making things that many here might find interesting. The first link is to the home page of David M. MacMillan's site and the second link digs deeper into his site for the machine shop related topics. David has done a great job of locating and documenting his information finds. There's a lot of good basic and historic information on and linked to his site, enjoy.

Thanks Benny

Thats a site Ive never come across before.

Me too!
It looks like the site owner is trying to keep his site honest by using links and not reposting someone elses infomation. There appears to be some problems with some of the links or at least I am having problems with them.. The metalworking.com site comes up but is not the site I remember finding some time ago. I did not find the information referenced and of course you have to join the yahoo groups and deal with their terrible site structure to see the information in those links. But still some new information there.
