I have been lucky enough to find an older lathe in very nice condition, but I have been unable to identify the manufacturer in order to source a manual and parts list.

The local machine distributor had it labeled with their own name, Sharp Machine Tools, in 1997, and was located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. They are still in business, but have no information on this lathe model. Any information that you can provide that might lead to sourcing of a manual and/or parts list would be appreciated.

Sharp Machine Tools, model 131943

Looks like a standard Taiwan built 13x40. Lots of companies put their name on machines built by a few manufacturers.

Check Grizzly lathes. Looks just like this one 12x36

That looks like the run of the mill 12x36 imported by dozens of companies, forever.

The lathe @twhite mentioned above is the version imported and sold by Grizzly as the g4003. They still sell it and keep lots of parts on hand.

Harbor freight even sold it under the "Central Machinery" name for a long time.

Looks exactly like my 13x40 Enco built in 2004 except mine is off white color. Otherwise, everything is the same.
