I'm sure this has been asked before but cant find it on the forum. Does anyone know what the actual designation is for the screws used on CCMT 0602xx inserts?

I've seen reference to spares like here

And of course the typical Asian suppliers like attached Bangood listing. They call them M2.5TT1

I'm interested in the head profile. Is it a standardized fastener or unique to the tooling suppliers? Something tells me I bought some TMX or Euro spares years ago & hey were pricey. The Offshore ones seem hit & miss. Just curious, what is the crew pitch or any other details.

Most holders have this info on the side or you can look it up for the holder on-line if it is a name brand. They are specialized screws and differ with holders and manufactures.

It would most likely be one of the below. They are both M2.5-0.45 x .256" (6 mm). The first uses a T-7, the second uses a T-8 torx. I have purchased from this seller and he caries good screws.

Excellent & thanks! Precisely quality/price I was after.
I want to make some custom CCMT tool holders & I could use some better quality spares.

I bought a bag of 100 of the insert screws from BangGood about a year ago
