Lunkenheimer #00 - Help Identifying Item

I'm assuming that since this is a Lunkenheimer that's it is something to do with steam.
The top 'gizmo' is stamped Lunkenheimer Ideal No.00
The lever/pusher thingy has "1320" stamped on one of the flats of the large hex and that's it.
It's been following me around for a couple of decades, and it might be time to find it a better home.

by your description its a their small grease cup, any photos ?
if you want to part ways with it i could put it to good use as i collect antique engines and machinery.

At one time cooks in South Jersey .had a couple full boxes of the glass oiler ones, the grease ones are great to use if you build something that's hard to get to to fill with a grease gun. I'd even like to have it to use on an old drill press . In days of old the tools had lifetimes to last not like now .
