lubrication for a die filer

have purchased a die filer for the princely some of $25 so it wasn't in very good shape to start with. outward appearance was okay with some rust and a lot of oil and lubricate to make a mess. but the gear box was locked up because of age the lubricant had leaked out and moisture had invaded it. I have finally gotten everything apart and in the process of cleaning all old paint and lubricant off so that I can repaint reassemble and use it. I think it is a milwaukee bench top die filer from pictures on the net but don't know, will post picture when reassembled. The problem I have is the only identification I have is a serial number it think stamped on the metal. There is a placard on the side that says lubricate weekly but, here is the rub I don't with what type or weight of lubricant to use. I would appreciate some information on lubrication and if a parts or operator manual is available.
Thanks for your help

Milwaukee calls for 20 weight oil. I put gear lube in mine but hadn't used it much I changed it to Mobile DTE Heavy/Med in mine now.

Just about anything 20 weight and above will work. Gearbox oix is good. Try to stay away from detergents thogh.
