Hi guys,
I see plenty written about taper turn attachments .I can't get my head completely around the operation of the unit.
I understand that the cross slide is mechanically connected to the taper guide, so far so good!
This would mean that the cross thread shaft will need to be disconnected. It seems a real pain in the bum to disconnect and remove.
Is there something blindingly obvious that i am overlooking?
Could some kind soul run me through what I should do and not do.
When the unit is built, it will be for a 12 x 36 chinese lathe.
Thanks for your time
