Looking for data or manual on a lathe

Hello everyone

I just purchased a lathe off a friend for my new shop, but cant seem to find really any data on it. Was hoping to find a manual for it, but seems like there isnt one. The nameplate has it listed as made in Budapest, with the name SZERSZAMGEPIPARI MUVEX, type is listed as e400/1000, and i think the model # is MSZ5022

I will keep looking, but maybe i will get lucky and someone here may recognize the brand

Is this a larger lathe? I found one for sale on industrialbid.com
They look pretty heavy duty.

Thanks for the help all, and yes its a larger lathe, but all i know about it is it runs 600V 3 PH and weighs about 4 tons lol. I also have a smaller hobby lathe, but wanted a larger one, so picked up this one and a large mill (excelo) which i did find a manual online for. This one is 240V 3 PH. I installed an American rotary 15HP 3 phase converter in the shop for any 3 phase stuff i pick up, and with a 200AMP feed from the main switchgear in the house (home has 400A service) i should be ok for power.

Will keep looking for a manual as it would make trial and error a bit less error

The best bet is to post some pictures. Brand and model names can be tricky but pictures can sometimes show 'similarities' with other manufacturers (most of the 20th century machine tool companies and especially the soviet bloc factories stole shamelessly from eachother!)

I snapped a couple of pics of it, but the shop is in a state of chaos as I'm epoxying sections of the floor and have to jam stuff at one end. Hope the pics help
