In installing the kill switch that the Logan 820 never had, and replacing all of the original power cable, I noticed that the copper contact points in the drum switch are seriously worn. So I' m looking for the contacts or replacement innards of an appropriate reversing drum switch, or the entire unit before it doesn't work. The Logan actuator has one for $80, but I thought I'd try here first.
Many thanks in advance!

You might try soldering some strips of brass or copper over the pitted area of the contact fingers- I did something similar to mine- cheap way to get many more years out of it

Hint: rewire your motor for 240 volt operation if possible, more efficient and switch will last much longer (half the current draw, and it's the current that tears up the contacts)

Mark,
yeah, I thought of the switch to 240, but can't do it in my apartment.
And, my problem is solved! A fully restored drum switch has found its way to me...almost zero cost, too. Nothing like having a friend with a major shop...
