On the surface, i’d say that you should get it.
It’s a well made lathe with some extras.
Ask if there is a tailstock that comes with it

Are you up for a bit of a drive?

I paid $400 JUST for the steady rest for my SouthBend 13" lathe.

I may have to go check that one out. Thanks for sharing.
There's another Enco in West Boise with a stand, $3,500 though. I shopped used lathes across OR, WA and ID for about 6 weeks, very slim pickings. Gave up and purchased a new lathe from Grizzly.

There is the only Logan I would buy on ebay right now, the 14" model 6565. Those are beasts with 10 plus inch wide bed width and 2,000 lbs. The 1440 Grizzly I just purchased in comparison has a 7 inch wide bed and weighs 1,300 lbs. But Logan parts are extremely expensive and they lack some of the modern lathe features.

You aren't kidding about slim pickings. I looked for a mill for a long time and finally bought a new PM. It's not a bridgeport but it beats what I had before, which was nothng.

And what little is out there is way over priced imo, and hasn't been selling.
