Lodge and Shipley 18x60, Sacramento, CA $500, some assembly required

I second John, scrap iron, not modern enough (for me anyhow) and overpriced
I see apron but no proper carriage- some homemade goofy mess

Depends on whether there is pitting from the rust. I've got that lathe's big brother sitting in my shop. Mines about twice as long. It's a Patent Head from about 1912. Those gears and tooling would clean up pretty nicely in Evaporust, I'd bet.

yeah, I know enough to not post something with obvious pitting, but of course it could be revealed on closer inspection. Stored outdoors in CA isn't necessarily a death sentence, but it certainly isn't beneficial anywhere

"Condition: Fair ... I think I have all of it" Yeah, right!
