I had a Mattel Power Shop in the basement in 1964 . I whittled away while watching my Dad on the big tools . I had a ball with it and most likely it played a role in my career choice .
I have to laugh a little bit at their advertising. Both those "children" are old enough to have an actual mini lathe. But it's cute. Great option for toys.
Oh I wish it were that simple or appealing. My observation is the attention span is the thing that is lacking in the littlest generation. Screens have made them ADD.
