It does have a lot of stuff but notice he doesn’t show the ways close to the headstock? In the pic with the stop you can kinda see em and it sure looks rough. I’m sure the PT Barnum rules applies as it’s a noob’s idea of classic old arn but it’s a perfect example of why I stayed away from hobbyist ideals. I’m too cheap and they are too expensive.
 
The word "restored" can mean anything I guess. Could still be a good lathe, but that price is pretty ambitious.
 
always surprising that an 80yo heavy 10 gets snatched up for damn near $4k, while a 60yo 16" (also SB) went for <$900
4x the lathe at 1/4 the price
 
There was a 16x36 SB $500 that stayed on CL around 6mo just the next town over. Seems like it was 40’s vintage.
