I would appear that the drive system is on the other end that we can't see.

You will like the handling a lot better if you give it some caster, camber and Ackerman.

Very nice work, rack and pinion steering- belt drive, big tires- I wouldn’t change anything!

it is a solid rear axel with chain drive through a torque converter driven by 212 cc predator engine, its not obvious from foto it has some toe out and the axel setup works to put down pressure on the inside tire thus lessening the traction of the inside rear tire. the front tires also lean in from top . it steers pretty good. if it feels a little cramped just tap the throttle and it will come right around. i could transform the rack and pinion to full ackerman but im tired of working on it . starting to plan what i well carry with me in case of trouble.
