I can see this will soon be added to my list obsessions. I probably should have saved the money and put towards a better lathe but there is no point crying over spilled milk.

Is that not standard operating procedure for most of us.

Everything is/was a deal for 14.95 and if that fails ship to office rather than home.

For straight razors I went for years on the theory that every straight razor I bought had to have black scales (handle). That way my wife would never be able to figure out that it is not the same one over and over again drying on the counter.

Oh yeah, I got this game figured out.

Nice collection of measuring equipment - the lathe will come but it is no good if you can't measure your work.
