A few years ago I started a thread on Practical Machinist about where to send your lathe beds to be ground. It's hard to find shops with large surface grinders. Here you go. If you know of anymore large surface or way grinders not on the list, let us know.

There is a Surface Grinder up in the NW in Auburn WA that can grind 60"

Industrial Grinding in Dayton Ohio has a Okamota surface grinder - 60"x160" capacity. Delt with them a lot a few years back.
