While doing some heavy scarifying, I managed to connect to a big rock in the process. To make the repair,
I had to remove it from the tractor and load it on a trailer and turn it up side down. Then I filled in the damaged
area and beefed the whole thing up with a 3/4 inch square solid bar. While it is stronger at the breaking point,
something like this will fail at the weakest point which now will be on the top part of the bar. I think I will try
to be less aggressive and run slower to keep the box blade in one piece in the future. Here are some photos
of the repair.

This is the BB1272 Land Pride box blade. It's a medium duty unit apparently but has generally served me well so far.
The clips that hold the tines in place are ill designed in my opinion but other than that this box blade is pretty good.
There are some large rocks on the property and one never knows when or where they will show up while moving
material.:oops2:
