They are good machines. You'll just have to look at the condition.

That's a clone of a Bridgeport J head. Lagun is still in business and supports their product. Like Jim said, condition is value.

Had a Lagun FTV-1 since 1984. Good machine, accurate, and a bit heavier built than a Bridgeport.
Machine is well supported. I have replaced the spindle bearings once, just for accuracy, even though they were still OK.

condition is everything.
