There’s a project for someone, a major buff and fluff job...
 
Other than the jaws, that is actually in pretty decent shape! I don't need one, but if someone around me needed it, I'd clean it up on the surface grinder in a few mins and it would last a lifetime.

Those are obviously soft jaws. I wonder if it has the original hardened ones.
 
Ah! I thought those were apprentice marks. That said, jaws are cheap/easy enough to make/buy so it wouldn't change my mind at all.
