I was just goofing around the shop today. I didn't have much to do so I decided to try my hand at knurling.
I have read that I is sketchy on a mini lathe.
I was gifted a AXA QCTP. I removed the compound slide and installed the AxA. It's a little big for this machine but WOW what a big difference in rigidity and you can't beat the price. Parting off is no big deal now. I retired the hack saw. I am hoping that I didn't just get lucky.
@$%&$% now I have to make new handles for my machines.

Looks pretty good. Nice knurl for a mini-lathe!

I made a straddle knurler for my mini. Never tried a bump knurler on my 7x16. I kept the OXA tooling and the supplied OXA bump knurler just didn't inspire me. I need to try to make one for my 10x22, or at the very least to make a plinth to mount the knurler on my 10x22.

If you get a clamp type knurler, you’ll really like the results.
Bump knurlers work, but imparts lots of pressure on the carriage, ways, and spindle due to the resistance of the part to be knurled.
The clamp knurler mitigates the radial forces that the bump style cannot

Nice results, but the QCTP is a beast.

I have a clamp/straddle knurler, but kept the bump one that came with the 0XA set: the back end gives me an extra facing tool holder.

Ya! its a little large but it sure works nice.
I may get a OXA down the road.
So far the size of it has not been a problem for what I do.
