keyway broaches

I just purchased a 00 size keyway broach set. The broaches are 5 inches long. My Greenerd #2 press has 7 inches between the table and the ram. No problem there. The next size (10-10A)set has broaches that are 6.75 inches and 11.75 inches. Is this going to require a press with a longer stroke or can I find shorter broaches ?

No you just have to be creative in stacking spacers under your work when you run out of stroke.

Yes, you are going to require a press with a longer stroke.
Broach length increases with the width and depth they must
broach.
