Kalamazoo vertical band saw - $1,500 (Modesto, CA)

Nice saw, but weird. I can’t see where it says how long the blade is. It. Use be an optical illusion but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a big saw like that, that the blade sticks into the throat. I swear it doesn’t look like any effective deeper throat than my 14”. Insane amount of speed change between the pulleys and gearbox.
 
Looks like it's an either or. There's a place for the third wheel to make it deep throat, but I don't see any pictures of it in the ad. Here's another picture from another site of the same model.

I find that Lenox lists 2 blade lengths, 12'3" and 9'4".

Yes, I see the guard for the return blade now, looks factory. Does not make sense to use a large frame, for a two wheeler.

Yup, not at all. I saw the odd spot on inside the frame and thought that could be where a third wheel could go. So is it cheaper to run the shorter blade? Or the saw was cheaper set up for the shorter blade?
 
Humm...could be an important negotiation point. Wish I had room.

I'm betting a previous owner was sick of blades breaking and continuous bad tracking which three wheeled band saws are known for.
