I agree on the cuttermaster, perhaps a bit limited as to versatility, but very good at what it does best --- sharpening end mills.None of the A600’s I saw had any work heads with them and there were separate work heads for $300+ so as typical it looks like most of them were parted from the machines. This is very typical. You can get double and triple that $500 to get the machine useful. The best ready to go rig I saw was a Cuttermaster for less than $1,000. It was ready to go and are good machines.
And I think that’s what most folks buy a cutter grinder for. If that would have been available I would have bought that instead of the Checkel I bought.good at what it does best --- sharpening end mills.
