Just for laughs

Another “disassembled for your convenience”. He’s just going to meet you on the corner with a pile of parts?

He also can’t write as there is one too many zeros, not $1,000, should be $100.

I wonder if I could go out to my shop, grab some miscellaneous stuff, arrange it in a group, take a picture and sell it for $1000?

An asking price of $1,0000.00 might be a little light if you include the proper identifying language. You can probably get $2,000.00 or more if you use the words Rare, Collectable, One of a kind, Vintage, Custom made, Antique or similar. The more words you include the higher the price you can ask. Each properly chosen word will add a multiplier of 10 times the actual value.

"Custom made" would definitely apply ... after all, it's the CUSTOMer who will have MADE it back into a lathe :)
