I found out that my red dot couldn't adjust low enough for some short range work. Found some shims online and thought to myself - hey that's plastic, what
is preventing me from printing this? So I poked about and found the hole pattern for an RMR mount. Modeled it with an angle of 1 degree. Found a shim on Amazon for $14, and it had a reversible hole pattern. I thought that would be a good thing to add. So put in 4 more holes.

Printed it in PETG with a base layer of 0.2mm and all the rest at 0.05mm making the other end 0.95mm. Took 18 minutes to print in slow mode. Astoundingly I was able to remove it from the build plate without damage. It's a basic wedge. Hoping it works, but won't be irritated if it doesn't. Dang, I like the ability to be able to knock off things like this! This is for an airgun so I'm not terribly worried about super stability. If I were to machine this, I'd make it a little thicker, and it would take a bit longer than 18 minutes to set it all up.
