after 15 year I finallllllllllly made wrench nuts for the up/down head lock...dropped that socket for the last time!
turned the nuts down half way to fit 1 1/2 -1/4 wall dom..tig welded..added 1/2 x7 stainless slip handle..politely beat the crap out of the ends so they stay in ;-)
the first time I tried my rong fu (same thing I think) I just lightly snugged them dang nut down with the crappy wrench that came with it. haaaaa, I found out quite smartly about how tight they must be. maybe a two foot long handle would be in order. nice job.
the other end had hex pockets for the bolt head....it doesnt take much to tighten for general milling...i'll snug up more if i'm using a fly cutter or simular
