I have a jet 1440 elite series lathe. Jet customer service has provided me with several parts. The change gears for my lathe were in a very small, tightly wrapped, transparent package that was taped to the inside of the left end cover of the lathe.

This one is far from new lol. I tried jets website and it's horrible. I'll give them a call later in the week

Measure a gear and find out the modular pitch. The gears are likely metric. Change gears and spur gears can be found and the bore and width modified on the lathe. The the shaft is splined, you will probably want original gears but a keyed shaft makes modifying a gear an easy job. Dave
