Jet 1236py DRO?

I’m going to order a DRO for my lathe and am leaning towards a cheap one from eBay. My question is, is there something I should be looking out for as far as what’s going to work with this machine or something special that’ll be required to install it? Is there anyone who’s done it and can offer any advice or pictures of one installed? Any and all advice and or pictures will be appreciated. Thanks to all in advance.

Get glass or magnetic scales... i Got a used hobby mill that had IGAGE dro and found it was off buy a couple thousands when returning to set zero When compared to a dial indicator. Would not get i-gage

I ordered a 3 axis lcd readout off of eBay. Along with glass scales. Hopefully everything fits and is easy to install. I’ll do my best to share on here.

I had the same issue and got one with glass scales
