Is this a good price for a caliper?

They are good calipers, but in my opinion the price is high. The more current model, 500-752-20 generally sells for less than $150.00 from reputable vendors. This is one Item I would only buy from a reputable vendor. They offer at least a 1 year warranty, and you can be assured it isn't a fake. This tool is one of the most copied measuring tools sold. The copies look so good it's sometimes impossible to distinguish them from the real thing.

I bought the 500-752-20 earlier this year from Travers Tools Amazon outlet for about $140.00 and free shipping. They're currently selling for $157.00.

I could find the 500-752-10 pictured no where on Amazon
Must be a discontinued/NLA model??
 
Probably an older model.

One thing to note with Amazon. They mix inventory, so even if you buy from them or a good vendor on their site, you may get a copy from someone else. Buy directly from a known good tool seller if you want to be sure.

Here it is. I agree. This is one the Chinese haven't been able to copy yet. I own this one and it is accurate as hell.
