i'd like a custom fit. don't have it in front of me for testing myself. thanks!
 
If you have a mill or a milling attament The Tnut is mild steel and easy to machine.
 
There is an easy check to find machinability. Just use a file. If it skids across without the teeth catching it is hard. If the teeth dig in it is soft.

yes, it's at work i don't have it in front of me. It's such a crazy leap in technology from lantern style to quick change. i'm sure there were lots of intermediary types in between but lantern ruled the roost for a long time.

These tool post come universal fit. They can save .50 cents by letting you machine the T nut slide to fit your lathe. I just installed a Aloris AXA on my Clausing series 100 mk3 and it cut like butter with a HSS end mill no problem. Easzy Peezy.
