I am trying to make a wooden brace for a chair that has 3 bolsters on each end that fit into grooves on the front and side of the seat, Simple enough, cut each end @ 45` and mill the out side edges and 2 slots. My problem is with my recently aquired NNuga Dial indicator holder. So far it has been on the dovetails with the indicator against the work, but the indicator is wobbly at the end with the 2 flex joints. Finally put the magnetic base in the chip pan and the indicator strobe against the front of the mill table, best results so far. Is there a bracket or fixture that can be made to make a more dependable set up? Working on pictue next.
