Indexing Spin Jig

That's probably 4 min. At 4 degrees I'd be afraid of it!:panic:

I think that means minutes, as in (10 degrees 4 minutes 11 seconds ) but I would contact the seller to be sure, don't touch it if they do mean degrees, you can eye ball 4 degrees...!:))

I've got one similar. Never checked the accuracy but I've used it for everything from chamber reamers to making 5 shot Ruger cylinders from scratch and it has always been sufficient. Unless you're looking for super precision, these work very well and are handy to have.

The one in the picture is from the e bay division of Shars Tools in St. Charles Illinois. Here's the information from their website:

I believe those who said +/- 4 minutes are correct since the minimum indexing is 1 degree. Here's their contact information if you wish to call, fax, or e mail them.

I've had a PhaseII version of the same tool for several years. I've used it to map out several bolt hole patterns and never had a problem. Since it's always worked for the purpose intended I've never attempted to determine it's level of accuracy.

Plus 1 on the unit itself - I've been using one for a couple of years now with no issues. I had to square off the base so I could use it in my vice - but no big deal. Only other issue is some 5C collets are really tight getting past the locking guide pin for me - might just be my unit tho......
