The beginnings of what is going to be my insect proof enclosure for my American Rotary 3 phase converter motor. (Baldor motor. ) This is the sheet metal that I salvaged from the old Stewart Stevens A/C condensing unit. My intent is to make an enclosure for the motor so I can sit it outside the room and eliminate some of the noise inside the room Because of my massive problem with Mud Daubers everything must be protected from them. The enclosure will be less than half the size of the A/C unit. The motor will be on the bottom and a shelf in the middle for extra storage. Stay tuned for more. I've included a few pictures of the remains of the carcus. Still some value in the bones. Picture 3609 is a rolling door that I built from repurposed airport and cruise ship loading ramps. My brother worked for a company that built them and they went bankrupt. His boss gave him a bunch of left over material. He gave me 2 of the doors and I made 3 doors out of them. They are 8-foot-tall rolls and would make an excellent shop if someone wanted to use them for exterior walls instead of buying sheet metal. He is gone covid took him away from me and just wish I could be as creative as he was.
