I'm still impressed with the quality of the new blade I put on this little saw. It had at least a 3/32's slant to the cut with the old blade. I made zero adjustments to the saw and it cuts better than I ever expected. The channel iron is 5" and as you can tell it is clean and square . Checked with my Brown and Sharpe combination square it is very good. None of the material is de-burred yet . the little thin pieces are the ends off of material that was not square. It cuts equally as well on thin wall round tubing. No more HF blades for me. I have new HF blades and I wore myself out trying to adjust my saws to cut correctly. Not this blade it was out of the box plug and play.

What's the brand of blade, where did you purchase it?

+1 for the Diemaster blades, I bought a couple for my vertical bandsaw, they seem to cut for forever.

My little 4x6 with iMachinist (Amazon) blades impresses the hell out of me. When I got the saw, I took it out of the box, set it up and started cutting. No adjustments of any sort. It's been over 6 years and I've made lots of modifications, but I've never messed with the blade settings. I just had occasion to cut some 1-1/2" x 3" 4140HT. I stood it vertical to reduce chip loading in the gullets.

I have also had good results with both Morse and Starrett blades
I can't remember when I put on the Starrett blade...saw isn't heavily used, but still the best $200 or so (back then) I've spent for any machine in my 'lil shop.

The most bang for the buck in metal working tools. It makes my list of "Top 5 Essentials"
