How To Recover Drafts

It happened to me. I notice that while typing a pop up window shows that what I wrote has been saved. I just had a response nearly completed when I had to jump to another window tab. When I came back here my write up was there for a few seconds then disappeared. I tried to find the auto saved draft but couldn't. Is there a way to recover or is the pop up a funny hoax?

If you don't see it sort of pale just click on the message field and it should come up.

Sorry. The box was totally blank. Guess I will have to start writing in a word processor, then cut & paste.

Did you click on the message field?
I have left drafts for two days and more and they were still there.
Are you using a smart phone ?

Yes I did Grumpy. Funny thing is I was using my IPad 2 (Safari) when the message disappeared. I just moved over to my PC using Explorer 11 and the draft is there. Must be an Apple thing. I need to get rid of that and go to a lap top.

Ouch!!!

Just spent two hours drafting a post on my windows laptop, bumped the mouse pad with a finger and it's gone! Anyway to recover a draft? Where should I look for it?
