Smarter Every Day, Destin gets his geek on at a rocket factory. This is cool, you think your Bridgeport is big, let's see it machine a piece 40 feet long, 10 feet wide and hold hold tolerances of 5/1000 of an inch.
We've all heard of friction welding and likely done some of it on our own by forgetting to lubricate something, but friction stir welding is likely new to all of us.
Very cool stuff going on here.
